Relic Tier List

Every event relic from S+ to F, with the reasoning behind each rank — plus a verdict on the current event pass. The grade is calculated, not guessed: a fixed point table, recalibrated after every patch.

A

Live event

Jurassic

2026-08-042026-08-18

One relic carries the entire event.

The pass is worth it for Tyrant's Skull alone — 4% lab speed is S+ and delivers 57% of the points. Without that relic Jurassic would be a D+ event. Gems: take Glowing Mushrooms (1200), the rest can wait.

Derived, not a direct precedent: 1% free attack = C, so the epic 2% version lands at C+.

The pick of the week. Same price as Magic Egg (C+).

The finding

4% lab speed has now appeared in four events — and every single time behind the paywall: 2025-09-30, 2025-12-23, 2026-04-28, and now. Four out of four.

How the grading works

Seven axes, published so every grade can be checked. The overall grade is the point sum of the four event relics — reruns, medal and gem relics are rated individually but do not count.

Rarity of the stat beats the size of the number

I love relics like these which give bonuses to things that are otherwise hard to increase.

The core principle. Orb speed / thorns / attack speed / bot range are hard to raise any other way, so they rank high despite small numbers. Damage is available everywhere, so it ranks low despite bigger numbers.

Double dip

you get 5% extra damage twice

Ult damage also buffs the Spotlight multiplier; crit factor and crit chance count twice via the UW crit card. Double dippers land between A+ and S-.

Works for EVERY build

Thorns, orb speed and bot range help eHP AND glass cannon, so they get S. Anything for one niche only — damage/meter needs SL+ — gets C-.

Slot opportunity cost

This one is equally useless but its only wasting a blue slot, yay.

The same junk stat is punished harder in a purple slot than in a blue one — the purple slot could have been something good. 5% cash = F, 2% cash = D.

Repetition / creativity penalty

I am dropping this down a full tier, due to lack of creativity.

The same relic twice in one event costs a full tier step (5% crit factor: A+ → B+). In the extreme case, a spite-F.

'Feels' is a legitimate criterion

you can disagree with this point but youd be wrong

He grades on dopamine, openly: watching the SL multiplier climb, crit chance above 100%, orbs spinning faster. Declared subjective and priced in anyway.

Breaking a threshold

A relic that crosses a line — 100% thorns without a substat, 98% def in tournaments — is S+, even when the number is tiny. What it unlocks is graded, not what it adds.

Stonks — ratings get revised after patches

He re-rates in the open: damage/meter D+ → C after UW dissonance, health regen A- → A+ with attack dissonance, knockback down after fleets. The old grade stays visible and the change is named.

The event grade is calculated, not felt

Points per relic tier from a fixed table, summed. Rerun relics counted half at first and nothing at all since 2026-04-17 — the grade rests ONLY on the four biweekly relics. He settles borderline cases with the arithmetic ('stopped at exactly how much was needed for S tier').

Points per tier

S+10S8S-7A+6A5A-4.5B+4B3.5B-3C+2.5C2C-1.5D+1D0.5D--1F-4

D− and F are negative. That is deliberate: an event is not graded on its average, it is punished for containing a junk relic at all.

Every event, every grade

The baseline comes from priesten's tier-rating series in r/TheTowerGame — 17 events between July 2025 and May 2026. Our point table is calibrated against it.
