Free Upgrades is a rare card that makes the free upgrade rolls during a wave trigger more often. If you rely on free upgrades to push your stats without spending cash mid-run, this card increases how frequently those free points land.
Free Upgrades
Free Upgrades increases all of your free upgrade chances per wave by a percentage shown on the card. Every free upgrade chance you have is boosted, so each wave gives you more opportunities to gain stats for free.

Card Mastery
Unlocking the Free Upgrades mastery costs 500 stones. Once unlocked, it lets you lock a stat so it is excluded from free upgrades, giving you control over where your free points go.
The mastery is only active while Free Upgrades is equipped in your active loadout, so you need a card slot for it to benefit from the lock.
