Energy Net fires a net projectile at bosses, stunning them for a period of time when it hits. The stun only applies to bosses, so the card has no effect on regular enemies.
Use
The card fires automatically once a boss enters your tower's range, so you do not need to trigger it yourself. The net travels at its own movement speed, which scales with your attack speed, and it is not affected by Light Speed Shot. Because the net takes time to travel, a boss will not always be stunned exactly at the tower range line — it may move closer before the net connects. Keep this delay in mind when judging how much safety the stun actually gives you.
