Cash Bonus is a workshop upgrade that multiplies the cash you earn from every source, including the bonus you get per wave. It does not touch interest, so it will not raise your interest rate or your maximum interest.
You can push the multiplier further with the Cash card, the Cash Bonus workshop enhancement and the Cash Bonus lab research, which all stack with the base workshop value.
Description
Cash Bonus multiplies all cash you earn, whatever the source, and that includes the cash bonus paid out at the end of each wave. It has no effect on interest: neither your interest rate nor your maximum interest is increased by this multiplier.
Workshop
You unlock Cash Bonus in the workshop for 40 coins together with Cash/Wave. The upgrade has 149 levels, starting at a x1.00 multiplier and gaining 0.01 per level, so it tops out at x2.49. Remember that this multiplier never increases interest or maximum interest.
Cost
The cost per level for Cash Bonus is listed in the cost table below. Since there are 149 levels, the full upgrade is a long-term coin investment, so plan your workshop spending around it.

Card
Equipping the Cash card raises your Cash Bonus workshop multiplier while it is active. The card's multiplier is applied separately and then multiplied with your lab research, so the card and the lab compound each other rather than simply adding together.
Workshop Enhancements — Cash Bonus
The Cash Bonus enhancement is unlocked for free once you complete the Workshop Enhancement Labs. Unlocking it immediately adds x1 to your Cash Bonus multiplier, and each level after that adds another 0.01x, up to a maximum level of 400 for a total x5 bonus.
On top of the multiplier, each upgrade of this enhancement also raises your cash per wave, your interest percentage and your maximum interest per wave by 1%. The exact per-level values are shown in the enhancement table below.
