Rapid Fire is a workshop upgrade that gives your tower a chance to temporarily fire at four times its normal speed. When it triggers, the effect lasts for a fixed duration before returning to normal. It is a straightforward damage boost that becomes more reliable and longer-lasting as you invest in its two related upgrades.
Overview
Rapid Fire gives your tower a chance to fire at four times its normal attack speed for a set period of time. The effect is triggered randomly on each shot, so both the activation chance and the duration can be improved separately through workshop upgrades.
Workshop
Rapid Fire is unlocked in the workshop for 1500 coins. It becomes available after you have unlocked Multishot. Once unlocked, it gives you access to two upgrades: Rapid Fire Chance and Rapid Fire Duration.
Rapid Fire Chance
Rapid Fire Chance controls how often the effect triggers. There are 85 levels available, with each level increasing the activation chance by 0.40%. At maximum level, the chance to activate Rapid Fire reaches 34.00%.
Rapid Fire Duration
Rapid Fire Duration controls how long the effect lasts once it activates. There are 99 levels available in the workshop, and at maximum level the duration reaches 5.55 seconds.
